Published for church family review before our congregational vote
We believe vision directs budget, not the other way around. The numbers below aren't the plan — they're what it costs to carry out the plan our church has already been praying and working toward. Here's a plain-language look at what's changing, what's staying the same, and where the money goes.

What's Staying the Same

  • Both pastors' salaries are proposed at the same amount as last year. Our bylaws don't allow a pastor to set his own compensation, so this number is brought to the whole church for approval rather than decided by the pastors themselves.
  • The English ministry continues to cover facility utilities for the church building, fellowship hall, and community center as it has in past years.

What's New This Year

  • The Español ministry moves to its own complete budget. For the first time, it will fund its own pastor's compensation and ministry costs entirely from its own giving, and it is taking on responsibility for the parsonage's utility costs.

Where We Stand Financially

As of September 17, 2026, the church holds $35,683 across our two checking accounts. Some of that is already designated for specific purposes — the Español ministry's start-up grant balance ($4,437) and our bed-building ministry ($831)— and isn't part of the general operating budget above.

What happens next: This proposal is published for seven days for the church family to review and ask questions. After that period, we'll vote together as a congregation, as our bylaws require for approval of the annual budget. If you have questions, please reach out to a pastor if you have any questions.
