Tim Williams serves as the Senior Pastor of The Vine Church. His desire is to faithfully preach God's Word, make disciples, and see people transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tim did not grow up following Christ. Although he had some exposure to church, he spent much of his early life pursuing his own path. After serving in the military and working in emergency services, the Lord graciously opened his eyes to the truth of the gospel. Jesus radically changed his life, giving him a new heart and a new purpose. That transformation ignited a passion for God's Word and a calling to pastoral ministry that continues to shape everything he does today.

Tim believes the local church is God's primary instrument for making disciples and reaching the nations. He is passionate about healthy church membership, biblical leadership, church planting, and equipping ordinary Christians to faithfully live on mission where God has placed them.

His preaching is verse-by-verse, Christ-centered, and deeply rooted in Scripture. Rather than offering motivational talks or personal opinions, Tim seeks to explain what the Bible says, why it matters, and how it calls us to respond. Every sermon aims to exalt Christ, strengthen believers, and clearly proclaim the gospel to those who have not yet trusted Him.

Outside the pulpit, Tim enjoys investing in leaders, encouraging pastors, and helping churches leverage technology to advance the Great Commission. He also serves as the East Texas Church Planting Catalyst with Send Network Texas, helping identify, develop, and support new church plants throughout East Texas. Tim is also the Founder/CEO at MartusTech.

Tim and his wife, Heather, have one son, Easton and they are foster parents. Whether preaching on Sunday, sharing the gospel with neighbors, or spending time with his family, Tim's prayer is that Christ would be made known and that God would receive all the glory.
