Special Statement from Pastor Tim Williams

I have been made aware of recent concerns circulating about The Vine Church. After consulting with our elders and ministry team leaders, I want to address these matters directly and communicate the corrective actions we are taking.

The Vine Church has been accused of being a deeply devoted fellowship that believes the Bible is the Word of God and actually lives by it. Additionally, concerns have been raised about our passion and purpose to be a gospel-rooted community that connects others to Jesus.

After careful consideration, we have decided to take these accusations seriously. Why am I writing this out? Because we know that when people write serious statements with black backgrounds, people stop what they're doing to read it.

Effective immediately, on this first day of April (commonly referred to as April Fools), we will be doubling down on our efforts to share the gospel in our workplaces, neighborhoods, schools, and throughout our community. We will continue pressing back against the darkness that robs people of love, joy, and peace by boldly carrying the good news of Jesus to our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and families.

I want you to know that I want you to be part of this. You can participate in the ministry of The Vine by serving, by giving toward our goal of $12,000 over the next six months to help stock the food pantry and furnish the Lodge, and by living like Jesus Monday through Saturday right where God has you.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please direct all concerns and complaints to the church office at aprilfools@vinechurchmp.org and compliments or prayers to pastortim@vinechurchmp.org
